It goes a little like this.
1. GOOD HAIR
I've been loving the whole short bob-like hairstyle trend, especially when it's worn in a curly/messy fashion. Yasmin Sewell has this style super spot on, which brings me to my next point..
2. STATEMENT PIECES, BUT NOT TOO STATEMENT
In the photo above, it can be noted that Yasmin takes two statement pieces and pairs them together to create the perfect outfit. The main focus for me about this outfit (and all of her others, really) is that although she's wearing bold pieces, they're still so elegant that all of that pizzaz doesn't come off as cheap and immature. Know what I mean?
3. GOOD QUALITY BASICS/CLASSIC PRINTS
I can't stress enough the importance of investing in good quality basics, i.e your jeans, your thermals, your t-shirts, your trench coats, your sneakers, and your handbags. Now that I've stressed the importance to you, I need to take my own advice, because my wardrobe is lacking basics HAAAARD.
4. KALE SALAD. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!
Everyone and their pet guinea pig is having a huge kale moment. If it's as great as everyone says, I suppose I should give it a try, but I'm so lost as to how to prepare myself a salad. Consider me a newbie to the salad game. I've watched a few videos, and browsed the 'kale salad' pin on pinterest and have a few ideas, all I need is the guts to actually eat the salad now.. Wish me luck.
5. WALKING EVERYWHERE AGAIN
Now that the cold winter weather has passed, I'm able to walk comfortably everywhere again, as I usually do during the warmer months. I'll have to get used to it quickly, because Junie (my car) will be staying home for the next year while I'm away. I'm happy about it though!

7. MINIMALIST APARTMENT DECORATIONS
Throughout the planning the future apartment decor process, I've been really drawn to more minimalist ideas. I'm super bad for crowding everything around me with my useless shit, so this'll be a good time to ONLY bring the things I need/use.
