I can hear the coins dropping to the bottom of the piggy bank

in a search for a pair of shoes that will march me around Osheaga comfortably and fashionably,
i came across the Martiniano Gloves.
after dragging my way across the depths of the internet,
i found these beautiful things,
and i certainly plan on grabbing a pair before the trip.

Recent Decisions/ Excitement

I've got a lot to be excited about going on in the next year,
so I figured I'd share a bit.

1. I'm going to Osheaga!
After years and years of fighting with
my parents about attending the festival
with friends,
they've finally allowed me to go!

Huge s/o to mom for
hooking me up with an air miles ticket B-)

LOVE U.

2. Toronto???
Finally being reintroduced with Eastern Canada,
upon graduating my program in the fall, I've
decided to head over to Toronto.

One of my best friends ever, Erin, was
sharing stories of her struggle to find
a proper roommate, which was funny
at first to consider going, but was never
really a solid plan. Then, after a few things in
Vancouver going South,
I decided I'd like to be closer to home.
So I asked Erin if she was still in need of
a partner in crime, and luckily she still was!

I'm so incredibly excited for this journey.
Although it was a bit of an impulse decision,
I couldn't be more excited.

And, of course I made a pros/cons list to go with that,
in which Toronto's pros totally crushed it over
Vancouver's for the opportunities and industry it
houses.. Not to mention the fact that I'd be closer
to family (aka nick/nova scotia).

There really wasn't any reason not to!

It'll be a hilarious task to actually move all my things there though.

3. Workin' a second job like a bo$$
I've recently obtained a second job at my
all-time favourite Vancouver restaurant to
help me save for all of the above.

It's been so lovely so far, and there's no
doubt in my mind it'll continue to rock!

How The Kooples Instantly Created The Need in my Mind for A Perfect Suit

As a girl who's not only a) in the midst of a major wardrobe transition period, b) a frequent YouTube video viewer, but also c) a hopeless, hopeless romantic, I was trilled to come across The Kooples YouTube channel.

The Kooples is a french brand that plays off the idea that when people are in relationships they often borrow each others clothes. So as far as the pieces go, androgyny plays a huge part in the design process. Although I'm not currently in a relationship myself, I really love the idea that the looks on both sides compliment one another so when worn together both parties look killer as a pair.

A well tailored suit will never go out of style for both men and women. So I find myself watching their videos thinking about how much my wardrobe is lacking in the suit department. I just can't seem to get it off my mind.

Now isn't that great advertising?
